• after the victims arrived, she drugged her victims, cut them up, wrapped them with oilskin, and buried the corpse at her farm
• "My heart beats in wild rapture for you, My Andrew, I love you. Come prepared to stay forever." -> in a letter she wrote to one of the men
• many butchered bodies carved like turkeys (heads cut off, arms removed, legs sawed off at the thigh) were found at her house
